3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies outfielder Bryce Harper is riding a six-game hitting streak as he heads into the last game before the All-Star break -- Sunday's matchup at Boston against right-hander Nick Pivetta. The 28-year-old, who said he would have skipped the Midsummer Classic to rest his back and shoulder had he made the All-Star squad, is up to a slash line of .283/.380/.905 with seven steals on the season after going 2-for-5 on Saturday with two RBI. He bats third in the series finale and makes a solid daily play, considering his two home runs in nine career at-bats against Pivetta. Though Harper only has 34 RBI on the year to go with his 15 home runs, he is about as reliable a hitter as they come and should be line in for a strong second half.--Josh Friedman
