3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Jerad Eickhoff has been recalled from Triple-A on Sunday. The Mets decided to go bullpen game on Sunday instead of starting Jacob deGrom before the All-Star break. Eickhoff tossed 2 2/3 innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs, and allowed two home runs. Possibly, this was a before the break type of move and Eickhoff goes right back down to the minors. He won't have much fantasy value, assuming he does stay up. Honestly. Tropeano was a better option with a 2.28 ERA and 1.38 WHIP over eight frames this season.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
