3 years agoBoston Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts homered for the second game in a row Sunday, launching a solo shot off Philadelphia Phillies opening pitcher Brandon Kintzler. Bogaerts also walked in five plate appearances. It's the 15th home run of the year for Bogaerts, who enters the break on a hot streak despite having gone 20 games without a home run prior to Saturday. Bogaerts now has a robust .930 OPS on the year to go with 57 runs and 51 RBI and has a case to be considered a first-round fantasy pick heading into 2022 if he keeps this pace up.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
