3 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Zack Britton (hamstring) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list on Thursday. Britton has been sidelined since June 25 with a Grade 1 left hamstring strain, though he's ready to return to the Yankee bullpen after tossing a couple of live batting practice sessions last week. The veteran southpaw has been limited to just 4 1/3 innings this season but pitched to sub-2.00 ERA in each of the previous two seasons. Britton should operate in higher leverage situations, though it's likely a longshot to count on him for saves, even with Aroldis Chapman currently struggling.--Tim Capurso
