3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Trey Amburgey is heading up to the big league roster Thursday. With Wandy Peralta and Nestor Cortes heading to the COVID-19 Injured List, Amburgey is one of the corresponding roster moves. The 26-year-old righty-swinging outfielder has excelled at the Triple-A level over the last two seasons, clubbing 29 homers with seven stolen bases over his last 162 games. Amburgey is likely to see time in left field, where the Yankees could use a spark after getting minimal production out of both Clint Frazier and Miguel Andujar (wrist) at that position.--Tim Capurso
