Blake Snell Starting Saturday
3 years agoSan Diego Padres starting pitcher Blake Snell (illness) will be on the bump for Saturday's meeting against the Washington Nationals. Snell has been on the shelf for over a week due to a bout with gastroenteritis resulting from food poisoning. Nonetheless, the southpaw's return can't come soon enough, primarily with the team dealing with injuries throughout its rotation. Although the 28-year-old hasn't fared too well this year, currently sitting on a 3-3 record and a 4.99 ERA throughout 16 starts, he remains a relatively viable option in most fantasy formats, especially with 93 strikeouts to his credit.
