3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea allowed three runs in 5 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision versus the Indians on Friday. Manaea cruised through four shutout innings, but allowed a home run to Roberto Perez in the fifth before running into more trouble in the sixth and being removed from the game. The left-hander is now sporting a solid 3.28 ERA backed by strong peripherals like a 3.35 FIP and a 3.72 SIERA. He's got a career-best 12.2 percent swinging-strike rate which has helped him post enough strikeouts to be a quality fantasy option in all leagues.
