Brendan Rodgers Reaches Base Twice In Friday's Loss
3 years agoColorado Rockies second baseman Brendan Rodgers went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles, a run scored, and a strikeout in a 10-4 loss to the Dodgers on Friday. Rodgers was one of two Rockies to pick up multiple hits in the lopsided loss. He singled and scored via C.J. Cron's grand slam in the third inning and reached again with another single later in the game. The talented 24-year-old has been solid since rejoining the team back in mid-May after suffering a hamstring injury back in spring training. He's slashing .268/.342/.435 with five home runs and 20 RBI over 138 at-bats. He's an intriguing fantasy option in deeper leagues, especially at Coors Field.
