3 years agoMinnesota Twins starting pitcher Charlie Barnes took the loss in Saturday's defeat at the hands of the Detroit Tigers. Barnes became just the second starting pitcher in Twins history to allow one run and take the loss in their big league debut. The 25-year-old went 4 2/3 innings, allowing one run on four hits while walking one and striking out one batter. Barnes threw 68 pitches total and 58 of them were changeups, which he used to paint the zone for 15 called strikes and a 31 percent CSW. Barnes was likely just a spot starter for Minnesota on a doubleheader day and won't be a contributor for fantasy purposes.--Tim Capurso
