J.D. Davis Homers Twice In First Start Back
3 years agoNew York Mets third baseman J.D. Davis made his first start since returning to the team Saturday night, and he got off to a bang, homering twice en route to a 3-for-4 day with four RBI. Davis has been outstanding in his 46 at-bats this year, slashing .413/.491/.739 with four home runs. Despite returning to the team without a guarantee of a starting role, he's already proving that he ought to be in the lineup, both for the Mets and fantasy managers alike.
