Cesar Hernandez Not Starting On Sunday
3 years agoCleveland Indians second baseman Cesar Hernandez isn't in the team's starting lineup on Sunday as they take on the Oakland Athletics. Hernandez is hitting .233 with a .300 on-base percentage in 380 plate appearances this season, but he's provided plenty of value to Cleveland and fantasy managers by mashing 15 home runs. That being said, the veteran isn't starting against Athletics right-hander Chris Bassitt. Instead, Ernie Clement is playing second in Hernandez's place and is batting ninth. Given the matchup and that Clement is batting just .205 with no home runs in 43 plate appearances, you're probably better off looking elsewhere for streaming help at second base on Sunday.
