Drew Smyly Gets No-Decision On Sunday
3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Drew Smyly was handed a no-decision during his outing versus the Tampa Bay Rays on Sunday. He went 5 2/3 innings, four hits allowed, three earned runs, two walks, and struck out six batters. It wasn't a bad outing for Smyly, but he allowed the game-tying home run before exiting the game. The Braves ended up dropping this contest 7-5, but the bullpen gave up four earned runs. Smyly will carry a 4.50 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 74/30 K/BB ratio into his next start against the Philadelphia Phillies. He'll have some streaming appeal for that one, but most standard league managers can stay away.
