3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Trey Amburgey (leg) exited Sunday's outing against the visiting Red Sox. The 26-year-old appeared to injure his hamstring while attempting to reach first base during a double play. This is unfortunate news, primarily since Amburgey just had his contract purchased from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and was expected to fill the void caused by the collective absences of Aaron Judge (COVID-19) and Tim Locastro (knee). Brett Gardner came in to relieve him, with more information regarding his status likely to come soon.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
