Patrick Sandoval Has Mediocre Outing Sunday
3 years agoLos Angeles Angels starting pitcher Patrick Sandoval took the loss Sunday, pitching seven innings against the Seattle Mariners, including nine strikeouts and only one walk. However, he gave up six runs and two home runs. Sandoval has been good since moving to the rotation and has a 3.86 ERA with a 26.2 K%, 9.6 BB% and 10 home runs allowed in 63 innings. He's made big improvements from his previous two campaigns in the majors, where he had a 5.03 and 5.65 ERA in '19 and '20, respectively. With the high strikeouts and decent ERA, continue to count on Sandoval to give fantasy managers enough value to be rostered in most formats.
