4 years agoIt was a rough first couple of rounds for Gabriel Benitez (22-10) on Saturday as he eventually took a third-round TKO loss in the main-card opener of UFC Vegas 31. Fighting all the way to the end, Benitez scored a knockdown in the beginning of the third round. Statistically, Benitez tallied 57 significant strikes (67 total strikes) but absorbed 100 significant strikes. With the loss, Benitez has now lost three of his last four outings. A veteran of the UFC since 2014, we will likely see Benitez again.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
