Mookie Betts Scratched From Monday’s Lineup
3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts (hip) was scratched from Monday's starting lineup against the Giants due to right hip irritation. The Dodgers star outfielder's hip is still bothering him, and it will cost Betts at least one more game. He exited Saturday's win over the Rockies with hip irritation and was given Sunday off. The 28-year-old needs additional time to recover and is currently day-to-day. Fantasy managers need to remove him from their starting lineups. Matt Beaty will shift to right field while Zach Reks gets the starting nod in left. Reks was recalled by the Dodgers on Monday and can be used as a streamer after slashing .325/.421/.595 over 43 games with Triple-A Oklahoma in 2021.
