Yandy Diaz Exits Monday’s Game With Neck Spasms
3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Yandy Diaz (neck) exited Monday's game against the Orioles due to neck spasms. He went 0-for-2 with a strikeout before leaving. The severity of Diaz's injury is unknown at this time, and he is considered day-to-day. The 29-year-old was replaced in the game by Vidal Brujan. Tampa Bay has now lost both Diaz and catcher Mike Zunino during Monday's game. Brujan would see an uptick in playing time while Diaz is sidelined. The Rays prospect has elite speed, and someone fantasy managers should consider streaming if Diaz is forced to miss additional time.
