George Springer Goes 3-For-4 In Loss
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder George Springer had a nice day at the plate on Monday, going 3-for-4 despite his club losing to the Red Sox by a score of 13-4. The 31-year-old swatted a pair of singles and added a double while scoring a run. He's come out of the All-Star break swinging a hot stick, with six hits over his last three games. Springer has seen his batting average climb to .235 with six dingers, 12 RBI, 14 runs and two thefts across 24 games in an injury-riddled first season with the Jays. It appears he's put his nagging health woes behind him, so fantasy managers should feel confident in Springer's bat the rest of the way.
