3 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Nick Pivetta earned his eighth win of the season Sunday in a 13-4 shellacking of the Toronto Blue Jays. Pivetta pitched better than he needed to, allowing four runs on 11 hits and two walks in 6 2/3 innings while striking out four. The 11 hits allowed were a season high, but Pivetta was fortunate that only three of them went for extra bases. He now has a 4.37 ERA and 1.32 WHIP with 117 strikeouts in 103 innings. He's a decent fantasy streaming option in most situations.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
