3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo homers in his return from the injured list Monday against the Chicago White Sox. Garver homered in his first at-bat since the start of June, then followed it up later in the contest with another blast for his second multi-homer game of the year. Each of the round-trippers registered exit velocities exceeding 100 MPH. Garver now has 10 homers and a strong .895 OPS in 119 at-bats this season, making him a fine fantasy backstop, even in what should be a near-even split between him and Ryan Jeffers.--Tim Capurso
