3 years agoSan Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey wasted no time in contributing in his first game back from the injured list in Monday's 7-2 win over the Dodgers. The veteran backstop, who had been dealing with a left thumb contusion went 2-for-5 with a single, a two-run home run, and a strikeout. Posey got the Giants on the board in the first inning by launching a Tony Gonsolin breaking pitch into the left-field seats for his 13th HR of the season. Posey has been a huge fantasy value this season, slashing .330/.420/.558 with 30 RBI. Fantasy managers will be happy to have him back for the second half.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
