3 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Trey Amburgey (hamstring) was placed on the 10-day injured list with a right hamstring strain Tuesday. Amburgey was removed from Sunday's game against the Red Sox due to what appeared to be a day-to-day issue at the time, though it's an ailment that will cost Amburgey some time on the sidelines. The Yankees recalled Estevan Florial from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. Florial has one hit in three at-bats at the big league level this year but has 12 homers and nine stolen bases in 52 games between Double-A and Triple-A. The 23-year-old should see playing time right away with the Yankees' outfield depth getting thinner by the day.--Tim Capurso
