Ke'Bryan Hayes Singles Twice In Loss Monday
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes went 2-for-5 with one RBI in a 4-2 loss to the Diamondbacks on Monday night. While he's not providing a lot of power right now, he's still getting on base at a good clip as he's slashing .275/.351/.431 over his last 15 games, while recording one home run, four RBI and five runs scored. Managers had been hoping for better numbers this season after he showed a lot of power in his brief appearance in 2020, however there was always the risk that he would come back down to earth as he had never displayed that much power in the minors. He's slashing .271/.354/.431 over 41 games this season, but with a .241 xBA and .377 xSLG, it seems that even these numbers he's putting up are as a result of some level of luckiness. He'll still provide some value in deeper formats, but the majority of fantasy managers can most likely leave him on the waiver wire.
