3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ketel Marte (hamstring) is progressing well in his recovery from a strained left hamstring and could return to the team soon, according to Zach Buchanan of The Athletic. Manager Torey Lovullo said that Marte still had a few boxes to check, such as running the bases, but the results from his MRI exam this week came back looking good. It's been an injury-marred season for Marte, who has appeared in just 37 games this year. But when he's on the field, he's been productive, as he's slashing .370/.419/.556 with four homers, one steal, 21 RBI and 24 runs scored. Hopefully, once he returns, he will be able to have an injury-free second half, but fantasy managers should be wary of any potential recurrence of this issue.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
