3 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Paolo Espino threw five scoreless innings against the Miami Marlins Tuesday night, allowing four hits and no walks while striking out three batters. He took a hard-luck no-decision in the contest. Espino has appeared in 22 games for the Nationals, making six starts. He's not a strong fantasy option, especially with just 34 strikeouts in 51 innings, but fantasy managers could do worse for a spot starter in a pinch. He's managed to put up a solid 3.00 ERA and 1.04 WHIP on the year.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
