3 years agoNew York Mets first baseman Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a solo home run on Tuesday in the Mets 4-3 loss to the Reds in Cincinnati. Alonso has now hit safely in all five games since the All-Star break and has homered in two straight games. He is now 8-for-22 (.364) with two home runs, four RBI, three walks, and four runs scored over the five-game span. Overall, Alonso is hitting .259/.336/.493 with 19 HR, 12 doubles, 42 runs scored, and 53 RBI in 82 games. Alonso has a tendency to hit homers in bunches, so he should certainly be active in all fantasy formats for the Mets contest on Wednesday against the Reds in hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
