3 years agoDetroit Tigers third baseman Isaac Paredes (hip) has been scratched from Wednesday's lineup as he continues to deal with hip soreness, according to Evan Petzold of the Detroit Free-Press. Paredes was pulled from Monday's game due to hip soreness, and sat out Tuesday's matchup. He was penciled in on the lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Rangers, but appeared to exhibit some discomfort still while testing his hip with trainers. Harold Castro takes over in the lineup now, and will bat sixth against the Rangers. Managers should continue to consider Paredes as day-to-day, but check for updates on his condition after the game.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
