3 years agoSan Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. went 2-for-3 with a walk and two-run homer in Game 1 of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Atlanta Braves. Tatis walloped a meatball from reliever Shane Greene into the seats in the fifth frame that proved clutch in the 3-2 victory. Through 339 plate appearances, the 22-year-old star leads the National Lead in dingers (29), steals (22) and runs scored (74) while contributing 66 RBI and slashing .293/.375/.650. His next stop is a four-game set visiting the Miami Marlins.
