3 years agoBoston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers went deep Wednesday for his only hit in three at-bats, lining a solo shot off of Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray. It was Devers' 24th home run of the year and his fifth off a lefty. Devers has only slugged .423 off lefties in 123 at-bats this season, and while that's hardly terrible, increased pop against southpaws would make Devers that much better as a player and fantasy asset. He's already formidable with a .924 OPS in 344 at-bats this season.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
