3 years agoBoston Red Sox designated hitter J.D. Martinez went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double against the Toronto Blue Jays Wednesday with an RBI and two runs scored. The home run was his 20th of the season, and he very nearly hit another one in this game. Martinez appears to be long past his slower May and June, as he's slashing .333/.426/.725 with four home runs in 51 July at-bats. If he keeps this up, Martinez is the type of player who can carry fantasy managers to championships.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
