Jordan Lyles Has Lackluster Outing On Wednesday
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles continued his mediocre pitching versus the Detroit Tigers on Wednesday. He went seven innings, allowing six hits, four earned runs, and struck out five in the 4-2 loss. Lyles allowed three home runs in this contest, which moved his season total to 25 homers allowed. Those 25 blasts allowed are the second-most in the MLB right now by any pitcher. He'll take his bloated 5.14 ERA, 1.45 WHIP and 84/34 K/BB into his next start versus the Arizona Diamondbacks. There is no reason to believe that Lyles is going to be a reliable fantasy option at this point.
