Michael Chavis Goes Deep Wednesday
3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Michael Chavis hit a home run Wednesday off of Toronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Robbie Ray. It was his second of the season. Chavis went 1-for-4 out of the ninth spot of the lineup. Though he's hardly had a strong season, with just a .574 OPS in 65 at-bats, Chavis could be in line for some extra playing time going forward, as fellow utility players Marwin Gonzalez and Christian Arroyo are on the injured list, and it's possible Danny Santana will join them in the coming days. Even so, fantasy managers should want very little part of Chavis.
