3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Michael Wacha allowed three earned runs on six hits while striking out two across five innings during Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Orioles. He did not factor into the decision. The 30-year-old was efficient on Wednesday, needing only 58 pitches to complete five innings. He didn't walk anyone but did yield two solo home runs in Wednesday's no-decision. Wacha owns a (2-2) record along with a 5.16 ERA, 1.34 WHIP, and 57 strikeouts across 66 1/3 innings in 2021. He will look to build on Wednesday's performance when the Rays right-hander takes on the Yankees at home early next week. Wacha is expected to remain in the rotation for the remainder of the season and is worth rostering in deep-league formats.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
