3 years agoSeattle Mariners outfielder Kyle Lewis (knee) will begin light tee work and soft toss within the next several days. He has yet to start running but continues to make progress towards a return. The 26-year-old underwent surgery in June to repair a meniscus tear in his right knee. Lewis is weeks away from a potential return, but will continue to ramp up his activity, and could be cleared at some point this season. He slashed .246/.333/.392 with five home runs, 11 RBI, 15 runs scored, and two stolen bases across 36 games before landing on the injured list. Fantasy managers should continue to stash Lewis on the IL as he could be a difference-maker in deep-league formats in the final month of the season.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
