Chris Flexen Takes The Loss Thursday
3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Chris Flexen took his fourth loss of the season Thursday, allowing two runs on six hits and two walks in 5 1/3 innings. He struck out one batter. This loss drops his record for the year to 9-4. Flexen entered this one on an impressive streak, having allowed three runs or less in seven straight starts. He extended that run in this one, though his fantasy value remains limited by his low strikeout rate, with just 66 strikeouts in 104 2/3 innings this year. Even so, he's worth rostering for his run prevention.
