3 years agoHouston Astros starter Jake Odorizzi will take the mound Friday night to take on the Rangers. After a bumpy start to his delayed start this season, Odorizzi had strung together five strong outings in a row until he got roughed up by the White Sox on July 17. The veteran allowed four runs, four walks and was pulled after 3 1/3 innings and now has a 4.09 ERA through 50 2/3 innings this season. Fantasy teams, however, need to see Odorizzi pitch deeper into games (averaging 4 2/3 innings per start over his last eight outings) if he is to become a solid fantasy option down the stretch.--Joey C - RotoBaller
