3 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jeff McNeil (leg) is unlikely to start on Saturday against the Blue Jays. He wasn't available on Friday either as he continues to deal with left leg muscle fatigue. Although he is technically not injured, skipper Luis Rojas indicated that the team would take a cautious approach before allowing him to return to the lineup. The 29-year-old is batting .258 this season but has missed time due to injury. At the moment, McNeil is currently day-to-day, with Luis Guillorme likely to handle things at second while he is away.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
