3 years agoTampa Bay Rays pitcher Josh Fleming allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out one across four innings in Friday's 10-5 win over the Guardians. He did not factor into the decision. The 25-year-old threw 72 pitches, landing 41 for strikes. Fleming doesn't pitch deep into games and has reached five innings just once over his last five starts. The right-hander owns a 4.07 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 44:20 K: BB across 77 1/3 innings in 2021. He remains an option in deep-league formats and will look to pitch deeper into the game in next week's start at home against the Yankees.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
