3 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher David Price pieced together his longest start of the season on Friday versus the Colorado Rockies. Price went 5 2/3 innings and allowed four hits, three runs, one walk and four strikeouts. Price was cruising for most of the evening, but was yanked with two outs in the top of the sixth inning when Charlie Blackmon drew a walk. Relief pitcher Phil Bickford then entered the game and allowed Blackmon to score with back-to-back hits. Price was in line for a victory, but the Dodgers bullpen struggled mightily on Friday. Price has been getting stretched out with Clayton Kershaw (forearm) and Trevor Bauer (administrative leave) both sidelined and he should remain in the rotation for the immediate future. Price will face a tougher opponent in the San Francisco Giants on Thursday, but he is worth a look in most formats at the moment.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
