3 years agoMinnesota Twins relief pitcher Taylor Rogers locked down the victory for his team over the Angels Friday. Rogers fired 14 of 18 pitches for strikes, fanning a pair of batters in earning his ninth save of the season. It hasn't been the best month for the southpaw, who has yielded six earned runs in 8 1/3 innings, though he continues to have great control of the strike zone, as evidenced by his 17:3 strikeout-to-walk ratio. One has to think a contending team would be interested in Rogers, though it could boost or derail his fantasy value, depending on if he's closing out games for a winning team or operating as their setup man.--Tim Capurso
