3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Chris Gittens exited Saturday's game with an apparent injury while running to first base, according to Pete Caldera of the Bergen Record. Gittens had been dealing with soreness in his Achilles tendon this past week, and there is concern now as he was seen limping into the dugout. Over 15 games this year, Gittens is hitting 4-for-32 with one home run and five RBI with a 13:7 K:BB ratio. There should be updates on his condition after the game, but given his lack of success at the plate, this injury is unlikely to have a significant impact in fantasy.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
