3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies pitcher Spencer Howard will start for the team on Monday against the Washington Nationals. Howard has pitched to a 5.11 ERA, a 4.30 FIP, 29 strikeouts, and 17 walks in 10 appearances spanning 24.2 innings for the Phillies this season. Six of those 10 appearances have been starts. Most recently, Howard limited the New York Yankees to a hit and a walk in three scoreless innings during his start on Wednesday. He could be worth a look as a streaming option in deeper leagues against a Nationals lineup that is decidedly middle of the pack in runs scored.
