3 years agoNew York Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil (leg) was scratched from the starting lineup on Saturday against the Blue Jays. The 29-year-old continues to deal with left leg muscle fatigue, an ailment that has kept him out since exiting Wednesday's matchup against the Cincinnati Reds. Fortunately, McNeil isn't being considered for a spot on the IL, according to skipper Luis Rojas, so it appears there is still a chance he could return to the lineup for Sunday's series finale with Toronto.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
