3 years agoToronto Blue Jays second baseman Marcus Semien clubbed his 24th long ball of the season on Saturday as his club defeated the Mets 10-3. His three-run shot in the fifth inning chased starter Taijuan Walker from the ballgame as he went on to add a single to finish the game going 2-for-5 with a pair of runs scored. Semien had gone hitless in his last five games, so manager Charlie Montoyo shuffled the top of his lineup by moving Semien down to the third hole and moving George Springer into the leadoff spot. A move down the lineup isn't exactly ideal, but as long as the 30-year-old remains in the top-third, he'll continue to put up superb numbers in this dangerous offense.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
