3 years agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Joey Wendle went 4-for-5 with two doubles during Saturday's 8-2 win over the Guardians. The 31-year-old has been an excellent source for batting average and is hitting 370 (10-for-27) with three doubles, a triple, three RBI, and a walk since the All-Star break. A crowded roster keeps him from playing every day, but the Rays infielder continues to produce in 2021. Wendle is slashing .284/.341/.460 with seven home runs, 36 RBI, 48 runs scored, and six stolen bases across 305 plate appearances in 2021.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
