3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver was reinstated from the paternity list Sunday but is not in the lineup for the contest against the Angels. Garver has appeared in just two games since returning from a groin injury, swatting a pair of homers in his first action. The slugger should be expected back in the lineup for Monday's matchup with the Tigers. Ryan Jeffers will be behind the plate for a fifth straight day. Jeffers is 4-for-15 with two doubles and six strikeouts in that span. He has just one homer in July after clubbing five in June and has limited upside at the moment.--Tim Capurso
