3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Johan Oviedo wasn't great on Sunday, lasting just 4 1/3 innings. He gave up three runs on five hits with six walks and six strikeouts. There were tons of base runners on seemingly at all times, and it took Oviedo 98 pitches (55 strikes) to get just 13 outs. He escaped without a decision, thanks to the Cardinals scoring 10 runs. Oviedo has a 4.91 ERA and might not be in the starting rotation for long unless he starts throwing more strikes.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
