3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Brent Rooker belted his second home run of the season in Sunday's loss to the Angels. Rooker followed up Max Kepler's first-inning homer with one of his own, a towering 436-foot homer that left his bat at 111.7 MPH. The 26-year-old doubled in Saturday's game and homered Sunday, rewarding manager Rocco Baldelli, who penciled him into the lineup for the third straight game. Rooker should continue to see a good amount of playing time at the corner outfield and designated hitter spots for Minnesota. After producing well for the team's Triple-A affiliate, Rooker could carve himself out a fantasy-relevant role in the second half of the season.--Tim Capurso
