Raimel Tapia Swipes Two Bags on Sunday
3 years agoColorado Rockies outfielder Raimel Tapia went 1-for-3 with a single, a walk, two stolen bases, and a run scored in a 3-2 loss to the Dodgers on Sunday. Tapia got the Rockies' offense going in the top of the first inning when he drew a walk, stole second, and scored on a Trevor Story single. He then singled in the top of the fifth inning and stole another base. The 27-year-old outfielder is slashing just .188/.298/.208 over his last 15 games but he does have seven thefts over that span. For the season, he's got a .276/.332/.376 batting line to go along with five home runs, 40 RBI, and 18 stolen bases--a career-high--over 351 at-bats. Tapia is a streaky hitter and he could heat up at any moment so fantasy managers should stay the course with him, especially with all of the stolen bases he's been collecting.
