3 years agoMinnesota Twins outfielder Byron Buxton (hand) played catch on Monday and has begun ramping up baseball activities, according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Buxton has been sidelined since the end of June with a fractured left hand in what is the latest in a series of IL stints for the oft-injured outfielder. But when he's been on the field he's been producing great numbers as he's slashing .369/.409/.767 with 10 homers, five steals, 19 RBI and 21 runs scored over 27 games. There's no timeline yet for his return to action, but it's a step in the right direction at the very least.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
